Residential Service FAQs

  • We do not offer one-time mowings. However, when our schedule allows, we provide one-time or seasonal clean-up services, perfect for prepping your yard for spring, fall, or special events.

  • Each visit includes mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing off hard surfaces. Throughout the year we monitor turf health, check for early signs of disease or irrigation issues, and make seasonal care recommendations as needed.

  • Absolutely. Every yard is different, and we’re happy to tailor your service plan to include things like garden bed upkeep, weed control, fertilization, seasonal color rotation, or other enhancements. Just let us know what’s important to you.

  • Yes, we provide lawn treatment programs that include fertilization, weed control, and seasonal applications to promote long-term turf health.

  • Yes. Full system diagnostics are available upon request for an additional fee. If repairs are needed, we will provide a quote and obtain approval before beginning any work.

  • Yes. We offer seasonal plant rotations, fresh mulch, pruning, and landscaping enhancement recommendations year-round to keep your yard beautiful and inviting.

  • We do! Whether you’re planning a full yard makeover or looking for a fresh restart with sod installation, our team provides design advice and plant recommendations tailored to your yard’s lighting, water needs, and your personal goals—including low-maintenance and drought-tolerant options.

Service Logistics

  • We serve residential properties primarily in the communities east of Dallas, including Garland, Mesquite, Rowlett, Wylie, as well as nearby areas. For a detailed view of our service areas, please review our service area map or contact us with any questions.

  • Yes. Our teams wear professional uniforms and arrive in clearly marked company vehicles to ensure your safety and maintain a professional presence.

  • If weather conditions prevent us from servicing your property as scheduled, we typically reschedule for the next weather-permitted business day, depending on route availability. In some cases, it may take up to a week to get back on schedule.

  • It’s easy — just request a quote and tell us a bit about your property and needs. We’ll schedule a walk-through, assess your property’s lawn and landscape, and put together a custom maintenance proposal for your review.

  • Yes. Just submit a request through your client portal. We’re flexible and ready to adapt your plan as your needs evolve.

Scheduling & Communication

  • We accept all major credit cards. Payment is managed through a secure online portal for convenience and easy access to your billing history.

  • We require a card on file for all property maintenance services, which is set up during the quote approval process. By default, we charge the primary card on file after each service is completed — this is our standard billing process and preferred by most clients. Monthly billing options are also available upon request. Invoices & payment receipts are sent at the time of billing and can be accessed anytime online through your client hub.

  • Yes. We’re fully insured and compliant with all local and state requirements. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

  • We understand things change. If you need to pause or cancel service, just provide notice as described in your service agreement to avoid payment penalty.

Service Logistics

  • We serve commercial properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Our commercial clients are generally concentrated in East Dallas, North Dallas, Plano, Richardson and surrounding areas, but we’re happy to review your location for service availability.

  • We offer weekly maintenance services year-round.

  • We typically schedule commercial maintenance visits Monday through Friday during regular business hours. For high-traffic properties, we can adjust service times to minimize disruption.

  • Yes. Early morning, evening, or weekend scheduling may be available for properties that require off-peak service. We’ll coordinate with your team to meet your operational needs.

  • Yes. Every account is assigned a dedicated Texan Roots Landscaping account manager who serves as your direct contact. They’ll keep you updated with proactive communication, seasonal recommendations, and any service adjustments as needed.

  • In the event of a rainout or holiday, we’ll aim to reschedule within the same week if possible. Your Texan Roots Landscaping account manager will notify you of any notable changes.

  • Just contact your account manager directly, or submit a request through your client portal. We’re flexible and ready to adapt your plan as your needs evolve.

  • Yes. Our teams arrive in professional uniform and clearly marked company vehicles, helping reinforce safety and your property’s appearance.
